2009 in photos: July – 3rd quarter

We went to the Seattle Tilth chicken coop tour for Jess’ birthday and got lots of ideas.

Along with a whole mess of birthdays, we celebrated OUR FIRST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! I turned an old Pepsi crate into a display of momentos of our past year.

Oh, and we bought our first house.

Our garden just kept on feeding us. I learned what a potato should really taste like.

We said goodbye to Levi’s long hair when he decided he looked like a hippie.

We started eating a LOT of tomatoes.

Tomatoes, tomatoes, and more tomatoes. Our 12-pack of heirlooms really turned out to be a good investment.

More than a year later, we achieve dog-cat harmony amidst the chaos of moving into our new house.

We did the Puyallup (fair, that is).
