Our potato plants are growing happily in their little tires. The lovely leafy branches provide just the right amount of shade for this little guy. I really hope they are producing some baby potatoes. I am going to be more than disappointed if they forget to make the food for us. We stacked the second stack of tires, and 2/3 of the stack are nearly ready for their next tire. We’re trying to balance “enough water” and “too much water” since this week has been much cooler and less sunny than last week. Potatoes are supposed to like “plenty” of water, but too much can rot the growing potatoes.
